La Fortuna by Volcano and Lake Arenal is a short trip, about an hour away. La Fortuna Bagaces with volcanic hot springs and mud baths from Volcano Mirravalles is also about an hour in the opposite direction. You can be in the Capital San Jose in under 4 hours. A trip to the Pacific Coast is about 2 1/2 hours. Punta Cahuita on the Carribean Coast in the other direction is about 5 hours.

Wifi internet, an on-site laundry room, shower and restrooms are available for guest usage. Self guided and guided tours to private waterfalls and river access, including Rio Celeste, available.

Although the brand-new campsite hadn’t officially opened yet, our wonderful host Gina kindly welcomed us for an overnight stay. The site already had all the essential facilities in place, including clean toilets, large sinks, showers, and even a laundromat. While some parts of the campsite were still under construction during our visit, it was clear that this is going to be a fantastic place once completed. Located just a short drive from the beautiful Tenorio Volcano National Park – home to the stunningly blue Río Celeste and its breathtaking waterfall – this is the perfect spot to stay if you're exploring the area. We can wholeheartedly recommend staying at Gina’s place with your RV. She’s a great host, and the location is ideal!
